LINC 5 and 7/8 students in front of the Surrey Courthouse. In a Surrey Courthouse classroom where students were given a presentation about the procedures and protocols in the courtroom. Students were very enthusiastic and grateful to have the opportunity to visit the courtroom and observe the proceedings.
One LINC 5 student commented about the field trip to the Surrey Courthouse:
"This time we went to the court, I have learned some things.
It made me understand the difference between the legal system of a democratic country and that of a dictatorship. It made me understand what human rights and human dignity are."
